Now We Are Six!

I can't believe my boy is 6! We started our day off w/ donuts at Krispy Kreme!! YUM

What's going on here....

Davis may be getting a stomach bug, not good b/c his birthday party is Saturday.

Eliza completely wears me out.

We're having another baby girl!

It's almost 1 am & I can't get my brain to shut off.

UofL won tonight, that's always good, right?

I have tons of laundry to fold.

Danny is asleep on the couch.

I'm a little sad that we won't have another boy in our home.

I'm so super excited to have another baby girl!

Tons of bins in my living room as we're getting boy clothes outta the house.

Looking forward to lunch tomorrow with 2 friends from High School.

The Things I've learned today....

So, I really need to get back into blogging. The fact that I feel like I'm constantly blogging in my head all day is part of the reason. LOL

It's 4:27, just picked up Davis from school, dinner in crock pot, & I have to head back out. So, with little time I thought I'd start off w/ 'The things I've learned today"

1. If the Shark steamer appears to be broke, try adding water!

2. Eliza can fit very nicely in the bathroom sink. I found this out today when I left the kids bathroom door open while I was putting clothes away.

Tie Breaker

We're so excited to announce baby #3 & our tie breaker!!

We found out Monday, December 20 that we are expecting baby #3! Our estimated due date is July 14, but could change a few days in either direction as we get closer.

We are very thankful for our Christmas surprise!

Happy Thanksgiving

I am so thankful this Thanksgiving. God has given me so much to be thankful for & I don't even know where to begin.

I asked Davis what he was thankful for this year & this is what he said:
"I am thankful for tv & food. I even know how to spell food. F-O-O-D. I am thankful for my Mommy & Daddy. I am just thankful for everything."

If Miss Eliza could talk, I'm sure she'd say she was thankful for food, too! My girl loves to eat & try new things. So different from big brother.

I am thankful for Jesus Christ & my salvation. I do not deserve His love & forgiveness.

I am thankful for a husband who loves me deeply & shows me daily. I am thankful for our marriage that is amazing & comfortable.

I am thankful for the 3 babies we've been blessed with. Davis is our boy who keeps us on our toes. Eliza is our princess who always surprises us, & our sweet baby Sam who is in heaven. I am thankful that I will one day get to hold him.

I am thankful for our families that our so supportive of us & our kiddos. That's our roots & it's a blessing to get to share that with our kids.

I am thankful for friends who we laugh with, cry with, & get to walk through life with. We have an amazing group of friends who I couldn't imagine not having. They love us for who we are & truly love our kids.

I am thankful for our church family that we've been a part of for over 8 years. They feel more like family to us than anything else.

I could go on & one, but I know you have turkey to eat & games to watch.

I hope this Thanksgiving you stop & remember what you're thankful for & give thanks & glory to God.

Giving Thanks in November

This month I will be participating in Giving Thanks in November. I have so much to be thankful for that I just didn't know where to start, but after spending a great weekend w/ friends I think it's easy to say that I'm very thankful for great friends! I feel so lucky to have great friends in my life who have great kids that love my kids!

I wanted to get Davis in on the fun, too. I asked him today on the way home from school what he was thankful for & he said "I'm thankful for God". My heart just swelled a bit! Then he went on to say "but, I wish he'd give me more stickers!" LOL What a funny kid!

I have a new blog..... or is it the same ole' blog w/ a new name? LOL
Either way, this is it! I'm no longer One Hit Wonder, but I'm Amie, Davis Momma, Eliza's Momma, Danny's wife, amongst other things.
